Calling Young Creatives in Thamesmead (6 Roles)

We’re looking for six young people (16–25) from Thamesmead to join a new programme— in a paid Makers Assembly role -  helping to design and programme a new space in Cygnet Square, Thamesmead.

In collaboration with Beyond the Box, Peabody, Karakusevic Carson Architects, Turkington Martin, Price & Myers and Beyond Carbon, you'll:

  • Shape the design of a new community space

  • Curate events + activities for local people

  • Build skills, gain experience, and make your voice heard

Where & When

  • Location: Thamesmead and Other London Locations

  • Start: October 6th 2025

  • Paid: London Living Wage – £13.85/hour

  • Hours: Part-time Freelance basis (with training + support on self-employment, invoicing + record keeping) total contract of 128 hours.

  • Experience: No prior experience needed, just a willingness to get involved, learn new skills and contribute to your community.

Youth Connector Needed in Thamesmead

We’re looking for a Youth Connector (18-25) to support young people in designing and programming a new space in Cygnet Square, Thamesmead

In collaboration with Beyond the Box, Peabody, Karakusevic Carson Architects, Turkington Martin, Price & Myers and Beyond Carbon, you'll:

  • Play a vital role in building relationships.

  • Support the design and delivery of workshops and events.

  • Make sure this exciting youth-led project has a real impact.

  • You’ll work closely with our team at Beyond the Box to connect young people, partners, and the wider community.

Where & When

  • Location: Thamesmead and Other London Locations

  • Start: October 6th 2025

  • Paid: £15.85/hour

  • Hours: Part-time Freelance basis (with training + support on self-employment, invoicing + record keeping) total contract of 280 hours.

  • Application Deadline: Midday, Friday 26th September 2025.

  • Interviews: w/c 29th September

  • Start Date: w/c 6th October
