The Living Archive

Films shaped by community, care, and collective decision-making

An evolving archive of collective filmmaking

The Living Archive is an evolving record of films created through community-led decision-making at Beyond the Box.

For over eight years, we have worked with creatives, organisers, and communities who have shaped what is made, how it is made, and why it matters.

Each film in this archive exists in response to a real moment, a real need, or a shared question.

This archive documents not only what we have made, but how culture can be made and celebrated differently.
