ACAN at the People’s Pavilion: Reimagining Cities for Climate and Social Justice
Join the Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN) for an inspiring afternoon of hands-on workshops and creative activities exploring the intersections of sustainability, social justice, and the built environment.
As part of our People’s Pavilion Takeover, we’ll dive into:
The Legacy of William Morris: Discover how his principles continue to influence our cities today.
Construction & Climate: Unpack the environmental impacts of the construction sector and discuss ways to create positive change.
Biomaterials in Art & Design: Get creative making art from sustainable biomaterials.
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll be building a collaborative cardboard city, inviting you to design the features you’d love to see in your ideal cityscape. You can also contribute to our “Future Cities” Post-it Wall, responding to thought-provoking prompts about the kind of cities we want—and need—for the future.
This event is open to all ages and backgrounds—no prior experience needed, just curiosity and creativity!
