People’s Pavilion Community Festival 2025: Culture Led by Young Londoners

This film captures the People’s Pavilion Community Festival 2025, a free cultural programme that transformed the pavilion at the William Morris Gallery in Waltham Forest into a vibrant hub of music, art, film and community exchange.

Produced by Beyond the Box CIC in collaboration with a team of young cultural producers, the festival brought together artists, community groups and cultural organisations to create an inclusive programme of performances, workshops and conversations. Over five weeks, more than fifteen events activated the pavilion and its surrounding public space, welcoming residents and visitors to connect through creativity and shared experience.

Supported by Arts Council England, the festival demonstrated how youth-led cultural production can open public spaces to new audiences and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration, expression and community celebration.
